Accounting Platform
Invoicing and accounts with Stripe payments and ABN lookup - the back-office layer the front office relies on. AI works the uncategorised-transaction queue automatically on every import, and a daily automated review flags what needs attention across the books.
We built this platform ourselves. It is here so you can see that we already know how your business works - and it can be delivered under your brand, or used as the starting point for modernising what you have.
See it running
Recorded from the working software. The customers and figures are examples.
What it does
Ledger & categorisation
- Every bank line - Transactions land in one ledger with date, description, amount and the account code they were posted to.
- Auto-categorisation on import - Most lines categorise themselves as they land, and every one shows whether a rule or the AI bookkeeper placed it and how confident it was.
- AI bookkeeper on the remainder - Whatever the rules cannot place is worked through in batches by the AI bookkeeper, which posts a code only where it is confident enough and leaves the rest alone.
- Needs-review queue - Anything neither the rules nor the AI will commit to is filtered into its own queue rather than quietly guessed at.
- CSV import - Bank exports load directly into the ledger.
Financial position
- Headline metrics - MRR, revenue and burn year to date, net position, net cash flow, runway and the GST estimate on one row.
- Revenue against burn - Both plotted month by month across the selected financial year.
- Expense concentration - Top expense categories ranked, with recent transactions alongside.
Reporting
- The standard set - Trial balance, balance sheet, cash flow, aged receivables and aged payables.
- Cash or accrual - Every report switches basis without re-keying anything.
- Cashflow forecast - A 14, 30 and 90-day projection built from open receivables and payables.
- R&D-eligible spend - A running total of the spend that typically qualifies for the R&D Tax Incentive, for your accountant to adjust.
BAS & GST
- Quarterly preview - Gross sales, GST collected, gross purchases, GST paid and PAYG withheld for each quarter of the year.
- Mapped to BAS labels - Year totals come out against G1, G11, W2, 1A and 1B with the net GST position.
- Honest about its limits - The figures are a preview - full ATO lodgement needs Digital Service Provider accreditation, and the platform says so on the page.
AI-native, built in
The AI capabilities built into the Accounting Platform, and what each one does. Nothing here is a bolt-on, and nothing reaches a client or a lender without a person approving it.
Transaction categorisation
AI works the uncategorised-transaction queue automatically the moment a bank import lands, matching each line against the chart of accounts. Confident matches are applied; anything uncertain is left for review rather than guessed at.
Plain-English reporting
Ask a question like "what did we spend on software this quarter" and get an answer built from the current profit and loss and balance sheet, citing the accounts and figures it used.
Anomaly review
A scheduled pass over the books raises what an owner should know about today - a spending category well above its yearly average, a duplicate supplier invoice, an unusual large debit, a customer who has stopped paying - as notifications with a severity against each.
